Wonderful new items on the menu, the soup and salad bar were great! Our meals were piping hot and delicious. Went twice in a month, it's now one of our favorites. Congratulations to Chef James Frese, keep up the good work.
While the company I kept at the diner was excellent, the food was a bit sub par. I found an eggsheel in my omlette.
Truely enjoyed my dining experience here. Margaritas where top notch as well as the Sangria. Pablano stuffed chile the best I have had. I am from out of town and wish there were mexican restaurants of this quality where I come from. Definatly will dine here again.

For a standard chinese restaurant, this is by far the best in the downtown area. In addition to the best tasting chinese food, the restaurant offers an eat-in option and a very economic express lunch mini buffet during the work week.
Food was excellent. Service was ok. Had reservations for 10 people at 7pm. arrived at 6:50pm was not seated until 7:40pm, apparently reservations mean nothing here. Thought I would be offered at least a complimentary drink or reduction of meal costs for the inconvience, got neither. Will be awhile...
What can I say but that if you're here, you're slumming it. This place would be packed to the gills if they brought in some actual employees and beefed up the food quality. It has the potential to be a great, hopping cofee shop, but instead is just a step ahead of the sidewalk outside the bus stat...

My family and I were in the El Pilon restaurant recently and we had a very nice experience! The food was great the place was clean....the people there were very curtious, and the most importantly it is a family oriented business. The Pilon Restaurant will surely be my chef on friday afternoons.
