There are alot of Mexican places in ABQ but Papa Felipe's has good food and most excellent MARGARITAS. The lunch menu and happy hour specials make this place a go to for good food at a good price. Worth checking out.
plastic forks with styrofoam plates at top dollar. food's acceptable - but jeez - tourist trap!
Unusual dining experience in this out of the way spot. If you are a brave diner, you will be rewarded with interesting seafood dishes as well as traditional favorites. Try the different green salsa. Great fajitas too.
We ate there this evening and the waiter was good, the food arrived in a timely fashion. We thought the red salsa was on the bitter side but everyone liked the guacamole salsa. I ordered the goat tacos and boy, did they forget to add the flavor! The meat was tender but flavorless and the garnishes w...
Not bad if you're hungry. But doesn't do New Mexican food justice.
Very good New Mexican style Mexican food. This stuff is not to be confused with the Tex-Mex variety. I prefer the delicious red chile on my tamales or enchiladas. You should ask which is hotter the red or the green. The carne adovada (pork in red chile) is my pick.
The food is pretty good, but it isn't worth the price - very big on the atmosphere, but not what I'd call great food at a great value. For beans, rice and tortillas to have a gourmet price, there'd better be something else.
If you go to any other place in New Mexico you'll find out that every other New Mexican Cuisine is 10x better than this. This Food was garbage... bottom line. (p.s. The Calabisitas were trash)
Little Anita's was a huge disappointment, and is hardly fine dining
The worst experience that I have had at any restaurant. My wife found a rock in her bean burrito. A very unsanitary restaurant. I would not reccomend to anyone. Management did not seem to care about the situation!
We used to eat here all the time. That is until about a year ago when not only did our favorite server leave (paige) but the only person who knew how to cook left as well. It has been a constant turn around of servers and the food quality has gone downhill ever since.
I visited Casa De Benividez with my family on Mother's Day 2002. I have eaten there before and was very pleased with the food and the service. I was happy that I did not have to wait too long (15-20 minutes) to get a table, but that is where the happy part ended. We were seated outside and it too...
