The best home-cooking I have ever had! :)
Best home cooking I've ever had. The fried chicken was spectacular and the deserts were to die for. We really miss this place and look forward to the re-opening
I can not wait for Johnsons to reopen. I hear it will be soon. It was, by far, the best restaurant in town. The fried chicken was exceptional. The staff made you feel like family.
Thursday is the day to go here. They have the best chicken n' dumplings in the world. Also, they have very good fried chicken, and excellent BBQ. NC-17 rated them the best BBQ in Franklin County. Also, excellent brunswick stew and desserts.

This was a wonderful dining experience! The service was great, we brought a group of friends and the 1 waitress there took wonderful care of us, and the other patrons. There is only one chef and one waithress though so this isn't a stop in for a quick bite to eat type of lace, everything was made ...

Many crazy delicious pizza combinations you've never heard of before--my husband's favorite is the Provencal (which he says he never would have dreamed of putting in his mouth, let alone loving, except that he has learned to trust Stephan, the owner). My favorites are the warm goat cheese salad ...

Griffin's is a fine place to eat breakfast or lunch, service is quick and the staff is nice. It is a small town grill in a small town, now that Johnson's is gone it the only one left! I recommend it if you are in town at lunch, or breakfast. Good place!
YUK, people working are not very cherful, no smiles. Smoking in all sections. Bacon way over done, crumbles, over priced for portion size. Never again.
MY CHILD BURNT THEIR HAND ON THE WATER IN THE RESTROOM TWICE THE OWNER WILL NOT HAVE IT FIXED AND.... The last time we dined there ,We found a roach in the salad dressing...It was our favorite place to eat ,,NEW MANAGEMENT STINKS!

A hole-in-the-wall that truly is... After looking through their website, one would expect a somewhat French flavor and ambiance. Unfortunately, the location and furnishings are that of an out of doors flop, complete with inexpensive flooring that could easily house the nastiest of germs. The ...
