My wife and I arrived at the Greensboro location for lunch on my lunch hour on 09/19 at 11:50 AM, and was promptly seated. We sat there until 12:10 without even an hello from anyone. I finally went and ask the hostess, if we had a waitress. I was that she would have someone right over. She did, an...

I love the Moose Cafe, have been there numerous times including the one in Asheville, but for some reason we had a relatively bad experience a couple of Saturday mornings ago. We ordered the all-you-can eat breakfast and, first of all, there was no basket of biscuits, which was fine since no one ne...

My wife & I went there to eat on Sat meal was good. We had a card from Moose Cafe that states I'm a Loyal Local so I get 20% off each time I eat. Well forget that when I went to pay gave them card and they said it didn't qualify for what we got. So I said ok paid bill and went on, so on the way home...

$ of us went to eat on Wed. nite. The menu has changed since i was there last. They have cut back and taken some of the better stuff off. the only fried chicken they have is breast or tenders. They used to have great fried chicken. Also the all you can eat items have been removed. There was a sortag...

My husband and I enjoy going to the farmers market on the weekends and usually stop to have breakfast at the Moose Cafe first. Although the breakfast is usually very good, I changed my mind this weekend - the bathrooms are NASTY! It is a wonder that the health department has not shut the place dow...
Let me begin by saying this might be a great dessert place or breakfast place. Dinner in my opinion left much to be desired unfortunately. Our party had four entrees, two good and two not so good. Let's begin with the positive. My daughter had the bone in rib eye with a twice baked potato and bean s...

wish you guys would answer the phone for orders or invest in being able to order online...you probably miss a lot of business because no one will answer the phone. Call in orders not handled well at all. Never ready when I come after I give extra time! Get it together!

The food is great! We enjoy coming there to eat wings (best I've ever had). The actual service and cleanliness of the restaurant could be improved. I'm a big restaurant fan, therefore, I rate heavily. The floors are slippery, the tables wobble, and are sticky. Make sure you ask if they have ranch, o...
quaint cramped room good food with emphasis on presentation
I have been going to First Carolina now for almost 5 years, and have noticed a negative trend. The prices have been increasing and the size, quality of the food, and the service have been sliding downward. 6.75 for a smallish sandwich and a bag of chips just doesn't cut it when there are a number of...

We have eaten in this restaurant almost weekly over the course of several years. There is a rather good selection for a reasonable price, but some of it tends to be greasier and saltier than it should be. However, the management and staff (with a few exceptions) is probably the least friendly of alm...
I love it!
I ate there with a friend. I wasnt happy. I had fijayas and they were dry and alitle burned. they really din't have much flavor. The beans and rice were bland .With out much flavor. they were slow in bringing things asked for. I would not go again.

I would like to request longer hours and more of a variety. Also Country Kitchen should include more home cook meals and very little box recipes.

Country kitchen Had a wonderful steak plate for an affordable &.dollars and some change. It came with 2 sides and was delicious. kudos to the cook. I called in this order, and t was hot and ready when I picked it up.
Changes are not always for the better. This "fish camp" style restaurant has been a staple in my life since I was a child. Patrons could always depend on a meal of fresh, well prepared seafood not unlike they might expect from the seafood establishments found in historic Little River, NC. Sadl...
I was delighted to find this Jamaican take out joint. The food is pretty good and the service is quick. This is a place where the locals come for a good home cook style meal. I was looking forward to getting the Jamaican beef patties but they were all out except the veggie one. I tried it and it...
