This place used to good and fun. The last time that I ate there the manager served the food, he said cold plate and this was fajitas that should have been red hot.
Hot, fresh, authentic Mexican food. Los Portales is run by a wonderful group of people, most of whom come from Mexico, so they know their stuff. They provide great service, and they give you some bang for your buck, so you are getting a great value!

After waiting 20 minutes for service, we gave up and left. And, no it wasn't busy.... at all.
Always good food
I have eaten several meals at Munzert's and every meal has been excellent. I can tell that there is a real chef on duty! The service is excellent and the waiters are quick and friendly. My favorite side item is the German potatoes! I am happy that Hillsboro has a good restaurant!
