Trendy, great selection, well prepared food, server appeared to assume we wanted to linger between courses, would have appreciated more attention or service
Quaint. Great place to study, work or focus on your mate.
Think Al's Diner. But there is an extra three
feet behind the stools. The has browns are fried
in butter ( they make their own) with chopped
onions. The pancakes are the best I have eaten
in the Twin Cities, huge and filling. The bacon
is thick, the eggs done to a turn, and the coffee
cup ...
OUTSTANDING onion rings. Good juicy burgers. Order Manning Special burger with fries and slaw and it is difficult to eat if you order onion rings. Great portions. Very very casual neighboor bar. Family owned.
We had a great Time! What a comfortable and cool restaurant! Great service and great drinks and music. best piano bar in town
Ok, let's not mince words here. The service sucks, the prices are a bit high, they run out of beer, but the food is worth killing for! I am not a rib fan, but I can't stop coming back here time and time again for the baby backs and the cole slaw! Both are better then Famous Dave's and Market Barbequ...
This is a friendly place with a college atmosphere just of the U of M campus. It is more for sandwiches and beer than full dinners, though you can do that too. Most of the better sandwiches run in the $6.00-$12.00 range. Watch the chili-very tasty but extremely hot.
I go to Totino's Italian Kitchen for the pasta. The cheese ravioli is excellant! The also have meat ravioli, spaghetti, mostaccioli, and pizza. I did not care for their pizza, the cheese tasted processed and the crust was not adequately baked. However, I have gone back several times for the pasta. T...
The wok is the college mecca for cheap and generous portions. They are open very late, the food is served very soon upon ordering, and there is a huge variety in the menu. The Village Wok has come through for my poor ass many times.
Another U of M institution. Authentic chineese dish where you can get standard or off-beat chineese fare. You may even end up sitting by a Mah-Jong player on the right night. Pretty cool Chineese experience, can almost feel chinatownesque.
Where is their web site? I want to see their show schedule! Is there an excuse for not having one these days????
Came in on a Saturday night and it was packed! we waited at the bar and had one of their ones (on special) It was great! we got seated after 15 minutes (you could tell that they were rushing to get the people that were waiting for a table to get them seated...which was nice!) I had their ravioli spe...
THe Best Gyros in the city!
Great neighborhood Mexican place. Good chips and salsa before the meal, delicious entrees, and it's connected to a movie theatre! You can bring your drinks in there if you want! Check it out.
I took my Fiancée to this place on a Friday night. It was great! The place was elbow to elbow but it added to the experience. the whole place was singing songs from the Sound of Music and traditional German drinking songs. This is a place where the more the merrier. I would suggests large groups to ...
Kim's is great. Great food. Hole in the wall joint..
The pizza is great, tasty wonderful thin crust. The sauce is perfection. They have a window where you can watch them make it. The cheesy bread is delicious, however the salads and other sides are quite plain.
Every single time we've been in the establishment, the woman who takes orders has been ...
A very good place to go for authentic food at a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and helpful in making recommendations. The food was good all around. Nice hummas apps and fantastic lamb - better then any lamb I have had anywhere - even in Greece.
I went there as part of a group ...
I had a great time, I am a female and went there with some friends just to grab a bit to eat, and thought it was a pretty cool place, except the uniforms the waitress's had to wear.
Exciting place to eat. Animated animals, large aquariums, and an occational "passing rain" make this a one of a kind. The food is good, but a bit exotic as the key here is to eat nature aware foods. Usually a long wait to get in on the weekends.
