The resturant is considered to be "common". There are many other establishments that serve similar menu and quality. The traditional food is good for the price, but does not prove to be "authentic". The best Thai food in Mid Michigan. Highly recommend any item on the menu especially the spicy dishes.
I am Thai. The food from Lamai is extremely close to being "authentic", provided that the food is served right away, and not had been "sitting" in buffet style. Cleanliness is a noteworthy concern based on my previous experience from her old establishment.
Try the spring Rolls They're amazing
This is the same Lamai who had a restaurant in North Lansing (Old Town)and I was delighted to see that she had opened in a new location. This is the best Thai food I've ever had, and I've sampled it a lot of places. The buffet has fantastic food and great variety at a reasonable price.
