A friend and I were looking for a vegan restaurant and found Little Africa. When we first walked in we felt as if we stepped into the seventies. The place needs a good cleaning and dusting. Reassuring my friend that the food would compensate for the poor decor, we proceeded to order. We recieved ...
They cant even get your order right. It seems they will give you anything they have prepared wether you ordered it or not. This is my third time thru the drive thru on Fulton street in recent months and the third time I have got home only to have the wrong Burrito! Beware! Open the foil and Burrito ...
To be honest i have no idea how this place is still open. the food is bland, the staff unfriendly, and the prices are high. if your are looking for good vegetarian food try little africa just down the street. Also, as a side note, dont park behind the place. last time i did, the owner came out a...
This is the worst place in grand rapids, service is poor food is worse.Avoid the place at all cost
I read the previous review on the restaurant and went to this place for lunch. It was the worst Indian cuisine lunch I have had in GR. The food was cold, the covers were not taken off the dishes at the buffet table, most of the dishes were empty and they had like one desert (mango pudding and fruit ...
I would highly recommend not going to Indian Cuisine in Grand Rapids MI ever. We order party food from Rahul owner of restaurant and food came too late and food was not fully cooked, services he provided were worst. It was total waste of money. In nut shell never ever go to Indian Cuisine worst Ind...
Went there at noonish - no one else in the place for the lunch buffet, now I know why. VERY overpriced at $7.95 for the meager selection. The man said he'd "guarantee" we'd (three of us) like the food (we explained we'd never had ethopian food before). One of us made a small plate, took two bites, a...
May 2, 2004 lunch experience was not what we are used to from a Mancinos. We were all three ill (diarrhea) after eating and the manager seemed not the least concerned when I called to relay this info. The Highchair was WAY to short for the tables and none of the tables had been washed off, thought...
10/1/2013 our party of six stopped at Arnie's for breakfast. waitress got two meals of the six correct: one had eggs o/e instead of egg beaters, one was served no toast, another ordered cinnamon toast - got wheat - and ordered eggs o/m and got scrambled, another ordered bacon - got sausage. The ...
lets just say i ordered 2 whopper jr's and recieved mayo, burger and bun, nothing else. when i returned to the location i got a rude employee and a answer of that they did not have any lettuce tomato etc to place on our meals. my question is, if they cannot supply their customers with what they order...
Very Poor Service--We won't be back!!! My friends and I had lunch at La Cantina last weekend and were very disappointed in the rude, disrespectful attitude of the wait staff and bartender. The waitress quoted me one price for my food, but the actual bill was $3 more than what she quoted. When we ask...
HORRIBLE service. Not only did our server lie about how much our margaritas would cost but my credit card was overcharged double what our meal cost. It took them 1 month to fix it and the management was rude and unwilling to apologize for the mix up. I will NEVER go back, I don't care how good the f...
i think people like fred's because it's one of the only restaurants left on slowly-dying plainfield, so it's not like we have much of a choice. this place is nothing special, about the same as vitales which is also meh. the pasta tastes the same as one of those lean cuisine tv dinners from the store...
This place is very nice and very expensive. Wish they had a little more of deals on a combined meal. Fondue is fun and it will fill you up, but really this is just a once in a rare occasion place to go to due to the price.
Ok, so my adopted Ethiopian child, Ralphie, and I were passing by and we saw Little Africa's Cafe and were quite pleased...until we went in. This was not authentic at all. Ralph was telling me how he got food like that only around once a month, and the rest of the time he foraged around the garbage d...
Great restaurant, and for all the wannabe haters that reviewed the cleanliness or decor badly, they remodeled the whole place this last winter,so you might want to check it out again! the premier ethnic restaurant in town.
j.g.
The location in grandville does not compare in food quality to the Fulton street location. We work right behind the Grandville location and are pleased about half the time with the food.
I went to the Grandville, Michigan location and ordered the Meat and Bean dry burrito. The meat was burnt and the beans taste like cement. That was enough for me. I agree with the rest of the reviewers, the Fulton location is much better. I would stay away from Grandville because if the meat is bu...
The best thing about the Adobe is the unique sauce they use for their dishes that require it. It seems that West Michigan is hell bent on receiving a wet burrito in a pool of ketchup. You wont find that sort of nonsense at the Adobe.
THE place to go for authentic homemade mexican fare. The puerco verde is excellent as well as their breakfasts. The building has seen better days but is a minor detail considering it's such great food.
