Good Bar food. Family friendly, Strong drinks. Always crowed. Good value. Great Prime Rib and steaks. Good burgers
Amazing food at a reasonable price. Best steaks around. Also good seafood. Not a college hangout. A must for people who want to see Ann Arbor away from the school.
Old style steak house. Knight's started many many decades ago as a butcher shop, which got a reputation for having the best steaks in town. Gradually they moved into the restaurant business and they have been providing some of the better steaks in Ann Arbor since.
WOW THIS PLACE NEVER SEEMS TO DISAPPOINT ME IN ANYWAY. STRICKLY OLD ANN ARBOR TYPE LIKE IT SHOULD BE. ENJOYABLE TIME FOR EACH VISIT. MAKES IT WORTH FINDING WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED FOR LUNCH AND DINNER, OR SPECIL GET TOGETHERS
This was the worst service we've ever had! When we walked in we did not see a sign that said you couldn't sit until you walked through the line. Our son is 1 & I picked the only seat with a booth so he didn't fall. The lady waited until my husband paid then yelled at me from register that I couldn't si...
We went with my daughter and husband and 7 yr Grandson, did not like the experience, if you want your cholesterol fill for the yr, then this is the place. It was noisy, dirty and the seats totally uncomfortable (I am in 50+ group, maybe that explains my feelings) This is for the "Young" crowd defi...
This is the most amazing burger place in the world. I recommend trying EVERY BURGER EVERY WAY POSSIBLE, especially the fried mushrooms.
I had a quad hamburger with grilled onions on a Kaiser roll. It was just OK, nothing exceptional. However, the onion rings were second only to Red Coat Tavern, in Royal Oak. Blimpie's had a very thin coating of breading, and you could actually taste the onion, even though they were not sliced real t...
Best burger in the country - bar none! I get the triple on a kaiser with grilled mushrooms, fried egg, and feta cheese. It is the best hamburger I have ever had anywhere in the country. I am not exaggerating. Go try for yourself!
Good greasy burgers. Exactly whay we hoped it would be. Nothing fancy, bar stools, efficient service, lots of choices. Just answer the question you're asked, not the questions you think you're hearing. ;)

I love Makkara as a place to pick up some sushi on the way home or as a place to stop with the kids when we're out and about running errands. It's not fancy, but it's very clean and simply decorated.

I thought all Japanese restaurants were fancy, expensive, and intimidating until I went to Makkara. It's affordable and simple, with great food and very kind service. My family goes there when we don't feel like cooking during the week, or when we want to go out on the weekends with friends to an af...

We attended this restaurant for my daughter's 18th birthday. We had a pleasant meal with very attentive, professional service. Waitstaff was very flexible in order to meet our needs. They honored their advertised reduced price for a meal on your birthday and did not treat us like second class citize...

Excellent upscale menu, sampling of Greek, Italian, Syrian, and Spanish recipes from the Mediterranean. A place to linger for two hours over dinner. Appetizers are outstanding. Wait staff is professional, friendly, and courteous. A little pricey. Windows overlook the parking lot. Ambient outside sea...
You can't get better sushi unless you visit the east or west coast.
Just got new owners in the fall of 2004 - excellent sushi and sake lists, and the food and management has been wonderful while keeping the best of the staff and sushi chefs.
Wonderful food, especially the California rolls. Elegant setting.

Best pub atmosphere in Ann Arbor, long-established, friendly, local bar with a decent array of sandwich and burger and basic mexican menu items and good portions, priced moderately. Go for the atmosphere, meet new and old friends.
