Great food and greta service. Huge portions for very little money. Casual dining. Conveinient location (on your way to the Cape)
The food is great, prices are more than reasonable. I go there for lunch quite a bit. I like to play Keno in the lounge.
Went there for the 1st time the other day and the food was EXCELLENT. I recommend the clam chowder bread bowl! The chowder is AMAZING here. Great prices too!!! Lots of room so it doesn't seem like it is a busy packed place, even though it is! My boyfriend really enjoyed it here as well!
The room separate from the bar area is always cold, especially during the summer (A/C too low). The veal parm is the best, but recently, the veal has been lacking (giving less for same price). Go back to the old helpings of lot's of veal!
I am tired of placating snotty waitresses who clearly should not be waiting on dinner guests nor do I appreciate being shoved into the far freezing room when every booth was available. Apparently vel's has their "regulars" and the rest be darned, the menu never changes, the soups are always the same...
this place stinks..this place was so bad i will question myself if i should ever go out to eat at any restaurant..the service was terrible, the food was disgusting and the place itself was horrid..the only reason i gave it 1 star is becuz there was no rating lower.
