I have made 4 trips to New Orleans and have always eaten at Petunia's at least once each trip. The food, service and atmophere have always been great! It's small and cozy, unlike some of the bigger noisy restaurants we visited. Would definantly recommend everyone try Petunia's

WHAT a difference one year makes!!! We really enjoyed the meal here last year. This year was wholly different. The seafood was greasy, overcooked, and not quite warm enough. The staff was nearly rude... We WILL not go back.
Lunch is a real bargain....a fine meal for about $10.00. The service is great and the ambience isn't bad.

When you enter the restaurant, they show a sample of "Today's special" and "Sushi Special" and price for each. But nowhere does it say that for "Today's Special", the roll that you will get is "chef's choice". So you order it assuming that you will get the roll shown and voila! Surprise... myster...

It was one of the best shrimp we have ever eaten. Try BBQ shrimp. Also Creme Brulee is delicious. It is hard to beat....
We ordered the shrimp alfredo and the cream sauce was sour. They took it back and we ordered the fried shrimp, it was good. They did not compensate us for the bad alfredo at all, poor hospitality.
On our vacation we visited this restaurant twice. Both times we ordered the Shrimp Scampi and both times it was excellent. It was so good we had a plate made to take home to our family to try. We will definetely recommend this restaurant to our friends.
