While other reviewers seemed to like this place, I can not recommend it. It's supposed to be an asian version of a fast-food restaurant, I suppose, but I don't really recall there being anything asian about the interior or the people who worked there. Oddly, our orders--which were "for here"--were...
This is a good place for quick and cheap quasi sushi. The fish selection is very limited and is almost always pre-made and the selection is very very limited. If cheap is important, this is the cheapest place for sushi in town other than Dillon's.
The food is pretty good, the sushi is fresh and the people are friendly. Not a bad place to grab some lunch or dinner.
two meals for one! the left overs from my dinner last night ended up being my lunch today, haha. tastes great hot and fresh, or even cold the next day. i live in the area and this is one of my favorite joints.
Great food and great sushi. This place is a must if you live in the area or visiting from out of town. FIVE STARS!
Great food and great sushi. This place is a must if you live in the area or visiting from out of town.
The Honey Roasted BBQ Pork along with their homemade egg rolls are a couple of my favorites. I have only had one of their desserts, the puffs. I had to take them to go because I already had l...
If an entertaining dining experience is what you crave, you'll surely enjoy this Japanese Steakhouse. Excellent food. The entertainment value is determined by the experience of the chef you happen to receive. Have enjoyed some excellent chefs, and suffered through some mediocre ones as well.
THis place is awesome, i love it
This place Rocks my Sox Off...I don't think that I ever went to a better restaurant. I'll just say that my experience there was one to remember.
Called and made a reservation for 8:30 pm, last night (2/22/09). Arrived at 8:30pm, stood at unattended hostess station for 10 mins and surveyed many other parties waiting in the lounge area. A group of 6 got up and mentioned that they were told it would be a 5 minute wait... 30 minutes ago. Eventua...
A co-worker is somehow related to the owners of Sal's. I have taken the family twice... and both times was sorely disappointed. First of all - this is not 'hibachi' cooking. A hibachi is a cast-iron charcoal grill - not gas under a hot steel plate. Having lived in Japan - I'm under the impression th...
Enjoyed our Valentines Dinner there. There was a couple things that could REALLY improve the place and that would be a little more organizing for the seating and we had to wait quite a while to get a drink. Definetly needed another bartender!!!
Here's the place for Hibachi food. My girlfriend and I have tried several Japanese Steakhouses around town, and while we may try others since we've been to Sal's, we always return to Sal's. We compare them to Sal's. Always prompt seating, Fun, flamboyant chefs, and ample amounts of great food.
My friends and I go here every payday like a ritual! The chef's have awesome presence and the prices are really good for a hibachi grill. They even offer sushi fo the real asian fanatics among us! Awesome food and awesome times!
Service and Food is Outstanding! 1st Class restaurant! My Favorite. Chilly.
Amazing food and the staff is extremely friendly. Always a pleasure to go and feel at home there.
Awesome food, for an excellent price! Very enjoyable, definitely will return once you visit them.
What a great fun place to eat! Your normal japenese grill steakhouse, cook the food in front of you. I have never had a problem getting seating at luch time. Very resonable priced for a lunch and you will be full when you leave. All staff is very friendly and great service
