Our food was really good (Steak and Salmon) and the rolls were amazing. The service was a little slow but overall a nice place to go for a good meal and a decent price for a steakhouse.
I eat here all the time. The food is good and the service is fast and friendly. I prefer hot and spicey but even the non-spicey foods are good. If you want to eat in, the seating is limited. It's just a store front with the kitchen taking up 2/3rds of the building. I always get mine to go.
The best pizzeria in So. Bend. Family owned and operated. Quick congenial service and great food. Order by phone for pick up or delivery.
Food is good if you order it from special chinese menu . The service is not great, but I am used to it. I have been there many times and planing to come back.
My overall experience at this restaurant is usually favorable. The menu has loads of variety at reasonable prices. Especially for lunch. The Eggrolls are phenomenal. We always get plenty of rice. I usually leave satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to others.
What a uninviting resaurant from the outside and in, but the sushi is some of the best I have ever had. I have done sushi across the nation and this place is some of the best. I do not know how they do it in the middle of no-whereville, but the sushi is awesome. I can only imagine the rest of the...
Just a great breakfast with entrees you wont find other places.
Everybody raves about the pizza here, but I've had it several times now and have never been impressed. Rocco's is better - heck, order some Papa John's. It's not like you go to Bruno's for the ambiance anyway. I've been to two of their locations: pretty shoddy decorating, old grubby carpets, etc. Se...
The pizza and atmosphere is always decent and its a fun place to visit to break up your work week or if you feel like going out for pizza instead of ordering in. I would not recommend coming with an entourage larger than 4 people unless you like sitting in separate booths/tables. This place is not ...
when coming in to order.YOU SAY SAUCE ON FISH AND FRIES THAT IS WHAT YOU GET. when I GOT HOME IT WAS NOT DONE. i had paid for the service.
This is more of a take out restuarant - They should have a menu online. Their quality is very good.
We used to enjoy this restaurant in its prior location about a block south. Professional staff, large, open room, well-lit, table candles, linens, fine-dining type experience. Then, they tore down the old restaurant and moved into a vacated Bob-Evans/chain-style restaurant building. Why, I don't...
I would not recommend this restaurant. At first, I enjoyed the dark, cozy, basement experience they have going until I got pregnant and found it a huge pain to get up and down those stairs. Even before my pregnancy, the dark lower level would make me nauseated or give me a headache. After sampling o...
I've only gotten carryout from China Garden, but every time I've gone there, the service has been slow, and my order has been wrong. The food is really mediocre at best. My wife complains that the chicken dishes are all gristle, but I talked her into giving it one more try. That's when my order w...
The best Pizza in South Bend.
However, the service is terrible. The waitresses are friendly, but the hostess and the people behind the register are not welcoming, I'm assumng it is the family?
I have been going to Bruno's for over 20 years. Nothing beats Bruno's pizza but I would suggest carry ...
My family and I arrived at the restaurant around 8:30 PM (week night). We sat for some time before being waited on, maybe 20 minutes. When we tried to order we found that they were out of most all entrees and no diet coke. We will not be returning.
We traveled to South Bend to attend a Notre Dame football game. Our hotel provided a publication from the South Bend Convention Bureau that described this restaurant as "South Bend's oldest Italian restaurant." It never occurred to us that enduring existence isn't a direct correlaton to the quality ...
Be very careful of the breakfast, I've had it twice now and was sick afterward on both occasions. I also have a friend who has had the same experience.
Our party of 4 enjoyed the wine, music and atmosphere in the garden at Carriage House. As for the food, overall, I would have rated it average. However, when the pork chop entree was presented to my husband, he immediately detected a foul odor. The rest of us agreed that it smelled very unpleasan...
I work downtown and eat there often only because it is conveniently next to my work place. The buffet is horrible in comparison to others in the area.
