Took the family to enjoy all of the Colts pictures, framed signed jerseys and other interesting stuff, and sat in a booth where the kids could watch a flat screened tv. There is one in each booth. I had a breaded tenderloin and my wife had a wrap, which she said was the best. They have 3 big, big...
A very impressive sports oriented home town bar and grill. If you are a Colts fan, you have to visit it. It's brimming with Colts stuff from floor to ceiling. Good pricing also.
Very impressed! Finally found a place close to home where the staff knows everyone by name and makes newcomers feel very comfortable. The food was great! Not your typically bar food, their tenderloins and fish & chips are amazing, can't wait to try other items off the menu. Definitely worth the trip...

When considering the superior quality (every time) and taste of the food, consistently outstanding service (family style), charming, one-of-a-kind atmosphere and reasonable price - there is NO DOUBT that Hollyhock Hill is the best overall restaurant in Indianapolis!
My pork tenderloin was burnt, and the bar tender was really rude. She was on her phone the whole time I was there, as well as the owner. I felt I could have gotten better service if they paid more attention to my needs and not their phones. I am curious how much longer this place will be open.
Great atmosphere, very clean and the food is always great. It is nice to have a local independent restaurant on the Southeast side of town.

I had a very bad experience with a waiter that nearly overshadowed an otherwise wonderful evening. The staff at the Propylaeum Club is very small, so a problem with a staff member can be a very big deal. Our waiter was menacing from the start. He smiled with his mouth, but his eyes betrayed his ex...
I have been to all the pubs in this area for lunch, dinner, and just kicking back. By far this is the best place to come when your near Indy. At lunch the service is the quickest anywhere. The drink prices are by far better than anyone in the area. Dinner is a great bargin too. Hands down best tende...
management is excellent
Nice place - third owner - these people cleaned up the joint, revised their menu and keep their beers cold.
A Great place to eat with your family. Good prices and the gravy is made there from scratch. I know that for a fact, because a couple of my friends work there as cooks.
This is a nice place to have a family meal. The food is generally good. However, I specifically asked whether the sausage gravy was made there or came from a can. The waitress went to the kitchen and asked the cook. The cook told her they made the gravy from scratch there in the restaurant. Whe...

I took my aunt to the Old Country Corner Pancake House on Mother's Day. We both ordered the same item from the menu, which was an Hawaain omelet. It was very very good. It had pineapple in the omlet along with ham and cheese. The servings were large and very generous. The waitresses were very n...

The ambience is very German along with the music the motife and the very large very cold very tasty imported beer. As the weather breaks it will be a pl...
