Really the only Japanese restaurant downtown, Mikado has very fresh sushi, but you'll pay more for the atmosphere and location. The service at times has been less than perfect, but all in all a good choice for Japanese food in Indianapolis.
The staff was wonderful, and the selection was incredible! The price is higher, but well worth the money. Highly recommend to anyone!
I worked at a prison for two years and the inmates dining hall was a gourmet's delight compared to this dried out, fried, dead looking, gravy covered, crusty carbohydrated, bacteria buffet incubator.
I would have rather ate at 7-11. Everything is just covered in gravy and sauce and you really can't tell what is underneath it. The food was so dry and tough. I do not recommend this to anyone.
My husband is a truck driver and he brings his own food on the truck because of dumps like Mr. Fuel. The ...
Food is smothered with sauces and gravies to disguise the true product. I believe it stays in the warmer too long and product is not rotated properly. I will never stop there on the road again. Prices are also high for the quality of food you get.
I thought the food was hot and fresh. The employees were friendly, and the place had a fun, retro atmosphere. It makes me wonder about the legitimacy of the other reviews on this site. Also, the bathrooms were spotless. I will definitely be back.
One of Indianapolis' best kept little secrets. The service and atmosphere are perfect for those that love comfort food. The employees are helpful and courteous. It is a truck stop with a diner that is worth going out of the way to visit. Meatloaf is available on Thursdays (and it is to die for). Lun...
The best sushi in Indianapolis. The sushi rolls are creative. An expected delight.
There are many other items on the menu to delight non-sushi eater.
The space is a little small, but the owners say they will be expanding with full bar service as well.
I would definitely recommend.
This is my new favorite Indian place. The food is a touch more daring with the spices without being too hot and the flavors are amazing. What will keep me coming there is that they have Indian chai right at the buffet! Great and friendly staff too. A must for any Indian food fan.
This is the closest to real Italian pizza I've found in Indy.
Our first time eating at OCharleys and we loved it. it was a bit expensive ($64.00 for 4) so we could not do it alot but as a special treat, it was nice. The kids loved it and the food was awesome.
Beers are freaking $5.50 each. You can get something just like like across the street or next door a bit cheaper.
Plus the waitresses don't LIE at the other places and tell you the beers are on $2.00 special.
I asked her what was on the $2.00 special, and she said "Whatever you want!". So I ...
WOW! Had a great time Thursday last week! Great service,Great Drinks, SOOOO much better than coaches or scotties. A+++
great place for lunch or happy hour. Food and drinks are awesome and cheap and the service is the best downtown by far....love it and love the staff
My wife and I visited the On The Border Restaurant in the Castleton area last night and had a truly enjoyable dinning experience. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but we were still sat at a table within a few minutes upon arrival. After immediately being sat our very friendly waitress took ou...
Have gone here a few times. The wife and I get dim sum on the weekends. They offer cart service and i have to say (not bad). I've lived in Los Angeles and am kind of spoiled when it comes to anything asian. They offer all the normal stuff and a few interesting things. If your looking for the re...
This restaurant has very good food with decent size servings at a good price and a very friendly staff. The restaurant is small and has a small parking lot. In fact, if you were strange to the area, you would probably drive right by it because it isn't much to look at on the outside. This restaurant...
My wife's family has been eating here for years, and she introduced it to me when we began dating 8 years ago. We have since moved to Castleton and now Fishers, but still make trips back to Oriental Inn.
My husband's family has gone here for years. The family who ownds the Innis so wonderful and friendly, and the food is outstanding. They are ethnically Chinese, but grew up in Korea, so they also have a full Korean menu you can ask for specially. My husband and I had our first date and rehearsal din...
The food is delicious but the wait is ridiculous. We called ahead for seating and still had to wait 2 1/2 hours. We had small children with us which made the waiting difficult. The hostess was rude but the manager was accomodating. We received free appetizers bec of our long wait AFTER we intial...
