Just like all the other Applebees in America, this one is smoke from and has interesting items on the walls. The best times to go are off hours -- after 1PM for lunch and after 7PM for dinner during the week; weekends are tricker. Standards are good and the menu changes slightly each month or so. ...
Nasty Dirty, Go carry out, that place is nasty, rude, the managers are idiots, and no one ever washes their hands!! cash register right onto my pizza every time. Never again. Avers deal used to be 8.88 now its 13.99 plus a hidden 99 cent delivery charge, that the driver told me the owners get!, seri...
This place was terrible. They messed up my sandwich twice, didnt have all of the ingrediants the sign said they would, and the tables were dirty.
This used to be downtown near the courthouse but now you have to know where it is to find it. IT has fake outside dining -- indoors under a big sunny area with fake trees and plants, no worry about insects here. The food is simply, a bit strange in terms of combinations and a definate "California"...
Burger King Bloomington, Indiana W 3rd Street. i went into the lobby a pregant lady waiting to be servered, I walked in with one of thier works who had been outside smoking, 5 min later the guy that was outside smoking finally asked me what I wanted the pregant lady beside me said I have been waiti...
I'll go here if my friends want to, but personally I prefer Pizza Hut or even, I can't believe I'm saying this, Papa John's. I don't like the pizza here, something about the sauce I just dislike. The other food is good, but for a pizza place to have poor pizza is silly. Can be very noisy with that...
The food is very authentic. The prices are excellent. I recommend you give it a try.
My grandma loves this place, and she's probably the age of the average customer. Decor is nice. The Sunday brunch was $15 total with tax and $2.00 coffee. For that price I expect excellent food, but it was just OK.
This is one of the fancier restaurants in Bloomington. Save it for special events. The food is, well, upper class and thus rather limited in selection and pricey. But the service and the atmosphere is also part of the cost. A good friendly staff, I strongly recommend reservations.
I don't agree that this restaurant is only for special occasions. Nor is it pricey...salad, entree, and two side dishes for less than $20! This is a great restaurant. My only complaint is that the decor is a little dated...but I understand they are closing to do some major renovations this month.
We had a great time at Chapman's for dinner, but the variance in my ratings represent a HUGE disappointment in brunch. I agree with the poster before me (we had brunch around a month ago) -- the food was not very good. Most of it tasted generic or frozen. I would rather go to the Runcible Spoon fo...
We held our wedding reception at Chapman's during the summer of 2009. Chapman's did a wonderful job all the way around. We were able to meet with the events coordinator a few times beforehand to work out the details. They were very flexible and willing to make our day very special.
The food was gre...
Located in the mall, this is cheap and quick way to grab some food that isn't too unhealthy. But being in the mall also means dealing with crowds and crowded dining areas. Overall I prefer the some eatry back on the IU campus where it was less crowded (usually).
Amazing burrito bowls!!!!!!
Our experience at the Bloomington, Indiana Colorado Steak House was not a pleasant one, I'm sorry to have to say. Since I am limited to a thousand words here, I will just tell you that I posted about our experience in my journal, which can be found at: http://weeklyscheiss.blogspot.com/

Now open under new management, The New Bobby's Colorado Steak House is sure to please.
The biggest problem with "Crazy Horse" is the smoking -- it can destroy your meal to be sitting near another table smoking and the high semi-private booths do nothing to keepout smoke. The food is good and I've always found the staff friendly and eager to please.
A sandwich shop, definately a sandwich shop. Nice for a quick lunch, they also deliever. Nothing particular special though these sandwiches are better than the chains of Subway and Blimpies by a long shot. Small dining area inside so I recommend getting it to go.
Best sandwiches, not only in Bloomington but anywhere I've been, for this price range. The chains don't even come close.
Good food. They're Open late, which is very convenient for students. And they have a fairly speedy delivery time vs. other food delivery places in town.
