I have not had the same experiences the other diners did. This family restaurant has been open since the 1970's. The basement location is kind of odd, however I'm sure that is how they keep their menu prices down by being in the lower rent zone. I have been going here with my family for 20+ years...

Absolutely terrible.
for many years this strange place has seemingly done well. and i cannot understand why. the food is quite terrible the pasta is too soft and chewy the sauces are bland and tasteless. the service or lack thereof is terrible. the owner who is not italian nor are any of his employees. the so called amb...
this restaurant lacks everything imaginable. the food is terrible. the service is even worse, as rude as it gets. this basement loction is not cool it is oddball at best. the place is always dirty and noisy. gee. better go somewhere else.

weak attempt at real italian food. rude servers dirty kitchen and ding room tasteless food poor quality. one of the most overated restaurants in chicago area. be advised stay away from this dump.

Best Italian food in the burbs. We only like Spaggio cafe as well as place. You will not believe how good the meatballs are! The octopus was tender. The service is relaxed and good. Wish italian food in Italy was this good!
