I have been going to Lutz since I was a kid. I had my wedding cake from here and continue to pick up cakes and pastries whenever I can. This is truly a Chicago treasure.

This diner has been around for a long time, at least 20 years. Go here if you want some good comfort food, like chicken soup with matzoh balls, or a good corned beef sandwich.
Anna Maria is a great neighborhood place. It's bigger and nicer inside than it looks from the outside. Relatively inexpensive for the kind of food, and very good. They advertise the best tiramisu in Chicago, and they're right!

what a cool atmosphere, worth visiting just for a look, but the food is great too
After a horrible experience at another restaurant that evening (See Geja's Cafe), My wife and I were starving. We saw Bistro 110 and took a chance. The Host, and wait staff were very accomadating and courteous. The food was excellent. I guarantee that on our next visit to Chicago we will dine there.
My wife and I flew in from Boston that day just to go to Geja's Cafe (The 9 year anniversary of our first date). The Wishbone is the best restaurant for the good ole' New Orleans taste of jambylaya. It is masterfully prepared and cooked to perfection. I would recommend The Wishbone as a must restaurant for anyone visiting Chicago or to someone looking for a simply delicious meal!
