Went to Steitz's on 28 October 2012, and was disappointed. This is billed as a German restaurant but the decor is more in keeping with a Cracker Barrel style decor. Antiques everywhere, not much German decor. The food was so-so at best. We had the German Sampler and everything but the Red Cabbag...

It is known as the Southern Star now. I love it there. I could sit for hours and watch the boats and sunset.And their food is great. I love their steak filet,ribs,and pasta marinara.The made from scratch potato chips are good also.
