Paolo's Bistro is known as THE place to dine out in Puna, if not all of east Hawaii island. Homestyle Italian, very upscale for small-town Hawaii.
Very popular locally, tasty. Service a little slow. Don't order hot unless you really like genuine Thai style!

This place is good for quick, plain, (ala Denny's,) American food...burgers, pizza, steak, etc. Has a small full bar.
Located in Malama Marketplace. Hey, It's a Subway, You know what to expect, But it's a a big deal, a new choice, here in little Pahoa.
American style breakfast and lunch, rare in Pahoa.
