I have been eating at Barnes for almost 30 years and I love it. Nothing else in the country compares to it. Their pulled pork, bbq sauce, and brunswick stew are amazing. Everytime I am in Savannah I go to Barnes.
I will never eat at this place again.
First, id like to note that my family has been going to this restraunt on Broughton St. for QUITE some time now. We`d go atleast once a month! They never noticed us or recognized us or atleast thanked us in anyway. The lady at the desk who is supposedly the managers wife is RUDE!! Never smiles. Now,...
I'm from Savannah and recently moved to Pooler. The past few times I've ordered 'to go', either the order was wrong or food tasted terrible. I decided to give it one more chance and ordered a BQ plate with cheesy potato..which was an extra charge. The BQ tasted like it had been sitting in water (m...

Ok food, poor service. The hours of operation are a lie - DO NOT expect to eat here when YOU want, expect to eat when THEY want you to. Forget your plans, forget going to Savannah for a fun time away from the office, forget life. Do yourself a favor and go across the street. Ask for Scott. - J...
love everyone there Sunny.Great beer Great times,Amanda and Mary Rock!!!!!!!
What a wonderful place! Food was cheap, but the lady at the front of the store was unpleasant. Frank was our server. He is sexy!!!!!!!!!
I like all of the Carey Hilliard's, but I especially enjoy the one in Pooler. You want some really good food, go there and order the chicken and ask for it to be "made from scratch." Best dinner ever!!!

Great food and overall experience
great place to just ask for your food to be freshly cooked.
HAD THE SEAFOOD PLATTER, EXCELLENT!! A FAMILY RESTAURANT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS BUILT IN THE 60'S AND HASN'T BEEN UPDATED SINCE. NOT A FANCY PLACE BUT I ENJOYED VERY MUCH. EVERY ONE WAS VERY COURTEOUS. GENUINE SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY. SEAFOOD WAS TOP FLIGHT AND VERY REASONABLE. OFTEN EVEN IN THE FANCIER RES...

Sometimes its not about something bad happening but how the response goes. My daughter had ordered vegetarian soup. She is a vegetarian. The soup came and had small amounts of beef in it. She didn't realize it and started eating the soup. She does not like meat and figured it out right away. ...
My wife and I stopped for a drink, we are in our 50s. My wife did not have her ID so she was refused service. Later we were told that we had to leave. When I pointed out that it was obvious that we were both over 21 we were told, “if you don’t like it, don’t come back. We will not be going back.
I went to the Huddle House on Abercorn and it took 1 hour to get my food. When I requested to speak to the manager she refused to see me. When I finally received my food, it was under cooked and cold. Service was the worse ever. I try to give them the benefit of doubt because they were under staffed...

This place serves real Italian gelato, and one of the few places in Savannah that we found with vegetarian meals and vegan dessert. The sandwiches are good and filling.

I love the food and the people!!!!!!! Did I mention the food?!
I am from Savannah but for the past 10+ years have lived outside of GA. Anytime I go to Savannah, I eat at Carey Hilliards. Usually once a day, though I have found myself eating lunch and dinner there. I am always telling my family to UPS Carey Hilliard's to me. They can put it on dry ice and se...
It is the first best Korean restaurant that I learned, while I am residing in this area since 1996. I and my husband go there every weekend and enjoy great foods/services.
Carey Hilliards is easily the best restaurant in Savannah!! Everytime I eat there the food and service are both amazing. I have never been dissapointed. I highly recommend Carey Hilliards if you are looking for fast, friendly service.
The Carey Hilliards Restaurants used to be good restaurants, but have gone down in quality in all areas. The Waters Avenue location in Savannah is especially bad.
