Delicious home style southern cooking with a variety of meats and vegetables that change according to what Dunbar decides for the daily menu. My wife, daughter and I went on a Saturday when fantastic ribs were available along with such good squash casserole and collards. Don't forget the plain yet ...

In the '70s, I frequented the former Gargano's East alongside my parents on weekend nights. I'll never forget Mama Gargano's dance with a bottle of wine balanced upon hear head or the legends of then President Jimmy Carter flying down regularly just to satisfy his cravings for the delicious Gargano...

I have been eating at Gargano's since the 70's when my parents used to take us there on the weekend- I was young but remember getting the Shrimp Salad and mom and dad would get pizza- still love the ambience with the candles on the tables and the stained glass windows- Great place to eat!

We love Villa Gargano Rest. The best spag/meatballs ever. Servings are very, very generous. Great pizzas. In fact, all the dishes we have tried are wonderful. Great service. Just a nice place to eat great Italian food. Wish it was closer in distance to us. We just don't have a good Italian R...

Villa Gargano is best described as "Redneck Italian." After eating real Italian food while serving in the military, they don't even begin to compare. And don't even think of ordering a drink other than beer because you will confuse them. How hard is it to make a white wine spritzer? It is just white...

I have been eating at Gargano's since the 70's - Mama Gargano used to dance with the wine bottle on her head - was wonderful! The Gargano's "special" pizza is manna from heaven as far as I am concerned! Never have I tasted a pizza this wonderful! Cannot say enough about the pizza!!!

As a child my family would dine at Villa Gargano's in the 70's. My Dad was a US Marine and we lived close by on base housing. Since then, I've lived up and down the east coast including the Boston area and no other place compares to Gargano's. I still dream of their antipasta and pizza. We'd order t...

There is a need for much improvements. The menu and staff obviously were not use to catering to children. The food was not the best Italian food i've tasted. The management staff including owner & chef need to be educated in giving good customer service. We brought it to the waitress attention that...

I have been eating with the Gargano's family for over 35 years. Recently, I moved to middle Georgia and have yet to find a pizza that is comparable to the pizza at Gargano's. I try and get back to Albany to eat at Gargano's as often as possible. I like to eat one in the restaurant and get one to go....

The original Garganos in East Albany in the 60's set the standard by which all pizzas are measured ! Never found anything close to it since !

Villa Gargano is an "ok" American-Italian style restaurant in Albany GA. It's better than the ubiquitous awful chains like Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill, Johnny Carino's, and Carabba's. I stay in Albany on business once a month and I've eaten here a few times. The atmosphere is family friendl...

I'm from Houston, Texas and I visited Austin's in about 1997 while working at the logistics base. I will say the fajitas were the best that i ever had. And being from the Tex Mex capital of the world that is saying something.
this is an excellent restaurant. i go here every Sunday. they have the best food and grill.
