We frequent Joseph's during our weekend bike rides. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is what Jacksonville Beach (Atlantic Beach) represents .... a laid back atmosphere, great food, at a great value. We live in Ponte Vedra Beach and there's nothing like Joseph's !!!
The food and service are phenomenal. Huge portions for reasonable prices and the taste is the best I've found in Jacksonville. They have at least four locations in Jax now and every one I've visited has been excellent. Service is always fast and usually friendly.
Le Shea's is definitly a comfort zone! I had a wonderful experience there. The food was great made me really kick my shoes off like I was home. I will be going back soon with a couple of my friends. The family atmosphere is a great change from the chain restaurants. My favorite is the taste of the islands sandwich. I have been back for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed the french toast. This homestyle cooking will keep me coming back.
The Metro Diner's food is great and the service is just as good. If you go try the shrimp and grits absolutely out of this world. They always have unique black board specials. It is a weekend tradition for mine and so many other families in jacksonville.
Food most of the time ok but service dinning in and carry out the worst. When they get your order wrong they make it out to be your problem. Owners wife is rude and treats customer's like she is doing them a favor. Spend your money elsewhere.
