I found the Cafe Lombardy by chance as I was walking past when they had the windows open on Pennsylvania Avenue on a nice spring day. The inside of the restaurant is a throwback to another era, but i couldnt really tell you which! I have now been dining there for almost 4 years since my work relocat...
You definitely need to be in the know to get the best at this restaurant. First off you are given regular tea if you don't know how to ask for the good stuff. Also the Dim Sum was very good on most items. Some where just excellent while others were mediocre. The Pan Fried Turnip cake is a must t...

We were walking around looking for some good Chinese food and we found this place. The Chicken/Seafood soup was really good as was the General Tso's Chicken. Not very cheap but the food comes out very quick.
I must qualify firstly that my experience there is around 9PM so the bakery items I had was not the best but still was good comparing it to what we have in North Carolina. I would like to go back and dine in to try there other menu items. The staff there was friendly and eager to help.
Very friendly. Food was great especially their jerk shrimp! They are definaly one of the better jamaican restaurant in the city.
Probably the best value for a good home cooked meal on the Hill. The burgers are great and everything is priced very reasonably. A fun hangout for congressional staff after work to have a few drinks.
The food was excellent. Service must get better. More English please. HENRY great guy.
I had dinner down town at the Capital Grille over the Memorial day weekend. The service was good. Our waiter made pleasant conversation with us at appropriate intervals throughout the meal. The food was good although nothing in particular made a lasting impression on me. I arrived late because many ...

Love the food! The Alu Gobi is delicious. The place is always crowded. They recently did renovations - great place for lunch because of the buffet. You can get in and out really quickly. They have seating inside and a few tables and chairs outside on the patio as well.

I ordered chicken satay and it came out with lots of the best peanut sauce I've had in metro area. Other restaurants' sauce I've had tastes more like liquidy peanut butter. I also had the pork in garlic sauce which was also really good as recommended by the server. I was surprised that it was pre...
A wonderful experience! The food was excellent and authentic, and the chef certainly catered to our request for a spicy flare.

This place has the bestest atmosphere and great greek chicken salads. The people who work there always say " Hey Raffi, good to see you again", as they create the friendly local atmosphere. There are many differnet foods to celebrate all types of palates. I give it two thumbs up and an "A OK."
Would highly recommend this place.
Would highly recommend this place.
My husband and I dined at your restaurant last evening. The food was delicious, as always, and the service was great. However, I went into the ladies room in the bar area before we left, and it was quite dirty. This was not a good ending to an otherwise great evening.

We have been to Thai Kingdom, located on K St, near 21st, on two occasions, ten years apart. This has been a treat, both times. On this trip we dined on appetizers alone, fish cakes (tad mun), pork satay, zesty duck, chicken with lemongrass soup, and mee ghrob (shrimp& rice noodles). The service wa...
I visited Clyde's last week with my girlfriends and we had a fabulous time. The service was great, the ambiance was cozy and sophisticated and the food was outstanding. The crab and artichoke dip is a must and the martinis are fabulous. I highly recommend Clyde's.
Probably one of the best barbeque restaurants north of the Carolinas. This place has a rustic feel to it, but that only contributes to the enjoyment of the food. Ask for Dave's Insanity Sauce with your sandwich (only if you are truly brave).
