The restaurant is small, subtly and pleasantly decorated. It is in a convenient location, service is friendly and prompt. and the food is a good value particularly considering the reasonable prices. Well worth a visit for a casual dine-in, or for takeout.

I've visited Ridgefield twice, staying at the nearby Days Inn, and I could always count on the Country Diner for a good, hearty breakfast to start the day. Good breakfast fries.
