Hate to just repeat all those raves, but I gotta! I'm from Long Island and a friend from CT said I should try this place. Really nice people and great food at good prices. Clean and modern, but also has a wonderful combination of old-time Irish and Portuguese ambience.
Great food, reasonably priced. Atmosphere quiet so that we can talk. Have been there 3 or 4 times and great experience each time

I fortunately ate here despite being misled by the wrong menu posted on menupix,com. The food and service were great , prices were also reasonable with abundant portions. I am so glad we tried Nutshell and will definitely return.
The place is a dump. Dried ketchup splattered on the wall, broken ice cream freezer taking up space, everything is old and dirty, etc. etc. I don't know how they pass any health inspection.
You don't go to Paul's Wing It for the ambience. You go for the best wings in all of Connecticut ... maybe the best in New England. The wings are prepared with a unique, spicy sauce that you won't find anyplace else. Enjoy them with a basket of fries, carrots and celery, and a little blue cheese dre...
All I can say that the food is delicious. I recommend everyone to try at least once.
I love the food there especially the wings, foot long hot dog's (all beef no beans) and seafood. The prices are very very reasonable. They cook everything in front of the customer. I am very glad to hear they have been in business since 1993. They are open until late at night on the weekend.
Expensive but worth it. I thought the food was delicious. It's definitely a special occasion place. We shared a lobster appetizer that was to die for. So was the dessert. Overall, great food.

Great place to go. I have gone in several times since moving to CT and NEVER disappointed. Don't save this place as a "special occasion" dining experience....go as soon as you can...definitely worth it...Filet Mignon is excellent!!!

I have just the utmost praise for the chief at this restaurant...I believe his name is Vincent. I just had a dinner at Rui's N. home and the food was out of this world! I have never had fish, shrimp so delicious in my life! My hat is off to Vincent!
great small home style dinning , a great family restaurant.
Great Food, Great Bar, Excellent Service. Bobby Jo is a great waitress and makes this dining experience fun and accomdating. The great tradition of good food continues. Will always go back for more.

THE HOT AND SPICY CHICKEN IS SO GOOD THAT WE KEEP GOING BACK. YOU CAN'T GET THIS ANYWHERE ELSE. ONCE YOU TRY IT ... YOURE HOOKED ON IT!
