We've tried several items on the menu at Buca Di Beppo, and while some are good at best, have decided on one which we find to be not only great, but a great value as well!Order the "Fruite de marre",and ask for the bread, which is served with olive oil for dipping,a large size is more than enough for 4;...
Excellent in all ways, pasta is al dente, sauces are tasty, service excels, perfect for a bite before or after the movies at the Empire. We eat there at least once a month and have reservations for Christmas Eve.

Capps has very average Italian food. It seems to cater to the tourist crowd who do not know about the other great Italian restaurants in North Beach. I would not recomend eating at Capps. Try anyplace else in North beach and you will do better. The only think worth eating there is their creamy it...
Wonderful experience. This is a must for everyone visiting the waterfront. Not your normal "Fisherman's Warf" restaurant. Kid friendly but elegant and romantic. Great value for a touristy location. Food and service exceeded my expectations. Thanks, we'll be back.

Family style the way it should be. Excellent food, great atmosphere, and good family style. The wait can be long, but it is worth it.

They were grumpy at us in their service. The place was empty and we were just getting some drinks and an appitizer. The hostess had said there was a 10 dollar minimum, but that was ok. When the waitress brought out the bill she told us that it was a ten dollar minimum per person, and that we should ...
We were transport into Italy, with autentic Italian food and atmophere, nice portions and good price. We are looking for to go back and have that great Lasagna or Linguine Pescatore with a glass of Machiavelly Chianty.

As a older lady in San Francisco, I love treating my grandchildren to a day at the S.F. Zoo and then to lunch at a local favorite, Taipei Restaurant. They have affordable lunch specials especially for a lady on social security. Try it out for yourselves.

New to the city and was glad to find a local favorite in the Sunset District not far from Stonestown Shopping center. The pot stickers are cooked to perfection and they are great at accommodating my dietary needs. They will cook to order just about anything. Loved the friendly service.
Best Italian in town and a great atmosphere to boot

My girlfriend and I have been to Allegro Romano twice. Both times have been extraordinary experiences. Lorenzo, the host, treated us like we were long-lost friends. The food was top notch, as was the professional and friendly service. Our meal started with a free serving of Bruschetta, and ended w...

Nice place with all the comforts of home. It's nestled in a friendly neighborhood between San Francisco State University(SFSU), Stern Grove, Stonestown, and CCSF. I have been eating there for over 6 years and it's just a delight to have wonderful food, service and friendly faces.

This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants in North America. Reasonably priced and a true Italian experience.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. They explained how they had totally remodeled the buidling last year, 2004. The food was fabulous and we had a really enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend.
my friends and i love this place! i wrote a review on it in my school's newspaper in my "food column" The tiramisu is icing on the cake in every meal there!
50 dollars for 3 pasta dishes, penne w/ bolognese, spaghetti w/ meatballs, and ravioli (meat). The tiny salad came with 2 bitter romaine hearts in it, the meatballs were perhaps the saltiest I have ever had. They were burned on the bottom, and tasted slightly of fish. The penne plate was a huge stac...
