The service was not attentive considering so few patrons that evening. The tapas I had were not authentic Spanish tapas. I was served American cheeses, and the empanada was actually spanikopita (Greek spinach & feta pie) which I believe was a premade frozen item that was thawed and heated in a micro...

Great little asian food restaurant. For take out but super high quality. Not even close to those run-of-the-mill asian fast food joints. This is classy but for only a buck or two more!
The first time I came here I was very impressed with the authenticity of the food and how good it was! The service was good, very efficient and also and the environment was pleasant. I've been a loyal customer and probably have revisited 4 times since. When in the mood for Mexican Avila's is a great...

This little place is a gem. If you love authentic Mexican cuisine served in a casual, friendly atmosphere, this is IT! Their tacos are famous. The Baja Burrito is a monster. I had it with carnitas. The salsa bar can't be beat anywhere. Four different salsas, help yourself. A Long Beach favorite ...

This is a small out of the way restaurant tucked in behind Ralh's Market. 5 or 5 booths only and most people either get take out or delivery. But we eaten there several times. The prices are very fair and the plates are huge and come out piping hot and fresh. The food is delicious so that is really o...
great place to eat i stumbled upon just driving down the coast from my new [april 07] downtown long beach home one weekend.. great food & friendly wait staff & just a 2 minute walk from the Belmont Veteran Pier west, & likewise 2 minutes [or less!] from the beaches eastwards! they're only open for ...
I am from Montana. I get down to the Long Beach area once in a while. Of all the places to eat I have been to in my entire life, there is absolutely, positively no other place on the face of this earth that is better to eat at, visit with and socialize then Chuck's. I wish there were so many other p...

would the jerks on this web site please change the address from long beach blvd to the "new" address on Cherry, a move, which was noted, that took place in 2007?
One of the last really great bargains. Very reasonable prices, huge portions and great golf course views. The service staff have all been there for years and are very accommodating to your every need. A great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or catered event.
Ferraro's is kind of a fun setting if you like tacky, kitschy decor and the bread is good if it's warm, but everything else about it is spotty and inconsistent. I've been here when the food and service were good, which was why I kept going back. But over the past year or so, it's gone steadily downh...

With this being my first visit to Jimmy's, I was not totally impressed. First, I don't remember our server ever introducing himself. Although the food was better than average, the lobster in the cioppino was a little tough. My salmon was a bit overcooked but the cilantro sauce it came with was deli...

Being locals, my husband and I have enjoyed the food at Cafe La Strada in the past, despite the obvious arrogance of the owner and others working there. However, when we went there for Valentine's to enjoy a romantic dinner, we were treated quite rudely by the waitress. There were only a handful of ...
