Worst red sauce I have ever had: weak, anemic, watery. Salad was pathetic. Place was packed. The pizza is great. Everything else was poor. My date was embarrassed to have suggested we dine there. Never again.
This is one of Bakersfield finer Italian Restaurants. Food and portions are excellent. The lasagna has great flavor & a large portion. Well worth a try.
We eat here a lot and always enjoy the food. However, I decided to try the chicken alfredo and I didn't even want to eat it. The sauce and chicken both came out of a can, I am sure. But I would come back for the lasagna.
This is by far the best Italian food in all of Bakersfield. My personal favorite is the parmaesan chicken. And if you like authentic pizza, theirs is phenomenal! Very busy on the weekends and I believe closed on Sundays.
food was great and delicious! would highly recommend this place.
One of my favorite places! The Canteloni is to die for with either the red or the white sauce. The staff is very pleasant and the atmosphere is quaint and romantic.
I've been coming 2 this resturant since I was a kid. And I now take my kids there. The calzone is 2 die 4. And by far the best value you will find anywhere. I think they range from $5 something. Up to like $8 or $10 somthing however if your have never ate there before keep n mind the the mini can fe...
This restaurant is incredible! It has a great home grown atmosphere that welcomes you from the moment you walk in. Low lighting and tables illuminated by red and white candles makes this atmosphere formal and romantic without making the pricing on the menu reflect an expensive bill. The food is deca...
I can't believe someone would say this restaurant has the worst red sauce. That is FAR from the truth. It is one of the best i have ever had and I have had a lot of food all over the world. I can eat their red sauce all. by. itself! YUM! Love the food here and they have the best calzone in town...
The best (family affordable) Italian food in all of Bakersfield. I love the parmaesan chicken and authentic pizza or CALZONE. Very busy on the weekends and worth the wait. Great place for romantic date too !

Don't miss their garlic chicken pizza and their famous plumberry pie.

The pizza is just average. Not too bad, but not too great. Not as impressive as I thought it would be with the great hype it has received. The crust while deep dish, is also burnt. However, they gave a fair amount of toppings. A few blocks from BJ's Pizza, I would just as much order from BJ"s next ...

Food Quality: The taste is very mundane almost leading to cafeteria style taste at least for the pasta entries. Dining In: A little dirty and rundown looking inside with dirty white lawn chairs Service: Nothing but teenagers running the place who are all struggling to learn how to operate a pizza ...

I will admit it, THAT is how pizza should be done. The crust can't be beat! I was a little shocked at the inside. Not quite the "look" I was expecting at all. Service seemed a bit slow even though they weren't too busy. You better believe I'll be going back for take-out, though!

The owner is a friendly and gracious Italian man. The staff is sharp and helpfull. They have some great Italian food, including a couple originals. The thick, hearty pizza (not NY style) is one of showcase items and is among the best in Bakersfield.

Consistantly Excellent Food, Outstanding Service for a Pizza Parlor. Thick cheese really well covered with toppings.
