In my opinion Ixtapa is consistently the best Mexican restaurant in Montgomery and I've tried them all.

If you haven't tried the grilled chicken dinner, you are missing out! It is wonderful! The chicken has the perfect spices and is so tender. The new potatoes are always perfect. I recommend this dinner to everyone!
Food was normal Olive Garden... service is horrible everytime we go.
Great people work there. They remember you after the first time you have been there and make you feel welcome. Food is great. Goofy host who makes you feel right at home when you walk in the door.

Best general tso's chicken in the city.

Yeah it's a dive but try the hamburger steak! The best in town no questions asked - it's THAT good - the steaks are okay - the burgers good. The fried crab claws (2 for 1) are excellent. The service is slow, the place is a dive but the HB steak makes it worth it-

Ixtapa is my favorite place to eat in Montgomery and has been for several years. In my opinion, they have the best margaritas in town and the prices for both food and drinks are very affordable. They have special nights when kids eat free and they usually have the food to you before even finishing...

Hey yall should all go to San Marcos! Its the best place ever to go and get mexican. I am there all the time. I go on sundays wednesdays and most saturdays and sometimes in between then. The prices are also great! yall should all go
Best for take out since it's located in a strip mall and really doesn't have enough room to decorate for comfortable dining. The General's Chicken is OUTSTANDING (and my favorite), but all the dishes I've ever had were delicious.
Great, homestyle cooking IF you arrive right at opening time. At any other time, service is slow and food seems to be a little, "warmed over".
