The space and location are nice. We had an event there with no airconditioning. People left as soon as possible to get some relief from the heat and most people couldn't eat much because they started to feel ill. Also our food was set out at 5pm even though we had dinner scheduled for 7pm. I'm sure ...

I have been eating at Bilotti's for years now, and I find it to be one of Mobile's best restaurants. I really enjoy their pasta bilotti with whole wheat pasta. I also have never had better chicken marsala. The bread is fabulous and they have vinegar and oil on each table. Mixed together they are...
This is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The wait staff hung out at the bar and were loud and ingored their customers. The food was slow in arriving, cool to cold in temperature and completely unoriginal in preparation. Basically a watering hole for the river rats that live nearb...
I have eaten here a few times in the past and the food was very good, the service, except for maybe once, was good. But, last night, 10/20/07, myself and four others dined there and the whole experience was awful. First, the hostess was totally inept, then of course things went downhill from there, ...
Terrible food. This used to be a favorite of mine and (New Orleans native) husband. However, the food has taken a downturn of late. Piles of tender roast beef have been replaced by thick, chewy slices that taste like salt and meat tenderizer. Very disappointing. Fried shrimp was a tiny portion ...
We eat here as often as possible. I really enjoy the bread the poboys are made with, and the shrimp is always fresh. I can eat my weight in the sweet potatoe fries.
Great muffaletas and the best poboy in town! I always try to save room for some bread pudding but it never seems to work out so I take it home and enjoy it later. Thumbs up to Orleas Cafe.
If you guys could open one of these places in Birmingham I would be a very happy person. What is not to like fresh seafood,a great environment, and the closest thing to New Orleans in Alabama. Keep up the good work!
Ordered the chicken patties with the sauce covering them with red beans and rice and banana pudding.
Noone should miss the huge crab claws!!! The friendly atmosphere and wait staff are better than any I have ever experienced. The entire menu is moderately priced, from steaks to seafood to sandwiches. Papageorges also has the best hamburger in town, bar none. Worth the trip!!!

Went there a couple of weekends ago with my wife on her birthday for breakfast. It was fabulous! The employees were friendly and very knowledgable. The strawberry tea is supurb. And afterwards you can walk around downtown. You couldn't ask for anything better.
The food was excellent. It was the best fried shrimp I have had in years. There were very generous portions. Very! The crawfish dipping sauce was great. The fried dishes were tasty and not heavily breaded.I can't wait to go back.
I've been eating at Wintzell's for all of my 52 years. Whenever I have out-of-town guests, I always bring them to Wintzell's to get "real" Mobile seafood! Best crab omelette anywhere and the stuffed shrimp are outstanding too! Downtown location is my favorite.
Excellent value! Great food in a pleasant environment. Can't beat the Oyster deal 12 for $ 3.00 - Gumbo soup is outstanding. Loved it!
