Disappointing.
A party of 25, including myself, had booked a private room 4 months in advance. We have a Christmas party once a year, and they gave the room away. We were split into tables of 4 - 6. The steamed food was underdone and the fried food was greasy and cold.

We eat here as often as possible. I really enjoy
the bread the poboys are made with, and the shrimp is always fresh. I can eat my weight in the sweet potatoe fries.
Great muffaletas and the best poboy in town! I always try to save room for some bread pudding but it never seems to work out so I take it home and enjoy it later. Thumbs up to Orleas Cafe.
If you guys could open one of these places in Birmingham I would be a very happy person. What is not to like fresh seafood,a great environment, and the closest thing to New Orleans in Alabama. Keep up the good work!

The guy who gave this place 2 out of 5 stars is an IDIOT. Probably likes to eat at krystals at 3 am. Food is the best in Mobile.
What's the big deal? The food was OK but hardly worth the hour and a half we waited for our main course to arrive. The menu is uninspired. The sauces were salty, the salad greens were wet, the angel hair pasta was overcooked. The decor? Bubba's fish shack meets the owner's beer stein collection...
Food was out of this world but service was very poor. Drinks were never refilled and we were never checked in on.
Fabulous Cuisine. Very unique restaurant. Anything with Gorganzola is phenominal.

The is THE best restaurant in Mobile. You'll need reservations on the weekend, so plan ahead. Out-of-this-world food, spectacular service often provided by owner's, and and warm European atmosphere that you can't find anywhere else around here.
The food is excellent, the service is very good,and I like its quaint atmosphere.
