I'm from Rochester NY. Every time I visit my Son in Wappingers Falls, we Visit the Daily Planet, multiple times. This Place is Great. The Food, the Atmosphere, the Service are all Great.
I only wish that when I go to Pay the Bill that they would SAY THANK YOU, instead of THERE YOU GO.
Maybe Thank You, come back again or enjoy the rest of your day, Kind words with an imagination.
I suspect the Register Operator is part of the Owners Family and I expect a THANK YOU when I spend my money.

Every time we drive from the city to Albany to visit the folks we always stop here. Fun diner with he nicest people ever! The food could be a bit better but I'm a goodie from NYC so my standards are high. Buffalo burgers are so much more jucy than you would expect for such a lean meat. Basically love this place.

I actually worked at Daily Planet for several years. I can honestly say that the restaurant is extremely clean, the food is good quality, and essentially all of it is made daily from scratch. All of the baked goods are made from scratch in the restaurant, as well.

Personally, I am extremely health conscience, and I eat there all the time... knowing that my food is fresh & beaing prepared and served in an upbeat, positive environment! In fact, I now live in Westchester and make sure to stop there whenever I'm in town!

Did some of my customers have to wait a little longer on lets say a Sunday morning for their breakfast? Sure, but only because of how incredibly packed the place gets... which is a good sign if you ask me!

Undoubtedly my favorite diner!

This is a great place to socialize and eat delicious food. The atmosphere and decor is very nice and fun. I have been here hundreds of times, and I have very rarely had even the slightest disappointment with the food or service.

Living near the daily planet in LaGrangeville, NY brings my family there quite often. My wife teases me for having so many business meetings there as well. A frequest diner card would be great! The food is always fresh, hot and a great value. Once we ordered dinner and picked it up. My salad had dairy on it in error (I'm alergic). They actually sent someone out to replace the salad and they don't even deliver. The daily planet is 4.9 stars. It would be a 5, if they had a frequent diner card.

I was first happy to eat at the daily planet in Lagrangeville NY. Upon my visit, the waitress brought me a glass of soda that was full of, what looked like, clumps of food and grease. So, she replaced it graciously. Then I proceeded to watch her drop an glass on the floor, pick it up, fill it with ice and serve it to a customer. Then upon recieving the food I ordered for my son and I, my omlette had lots of egg shell in it and the toast was burnt and full of butter...more than a healthy proportion. I did not complain in person, as I am not that kind of person. I, first, chucked it up to coincidence but then realized that it most likely was not and that I was probably not the only person disenchanted by these same problems. I only hope something will be done to improve this establishments waitstaff/food service...as I will not be returning to this location again.

Food was ok - service wasn't. Sent eggs back three times and they still weren't right. One simple request to cook the yolk thoroughly - couldn't be accomplished. Ended up having to get them scrambled which I didn't want.

Eating there?? That's fine, I will admit, the food is quite extraordinary for a diner.
