Charleston Restaurant Guide

Don't let Red Orchard's location scare you off. It's very nice on the inside. From hanging red lanterns to hard red wood furniture, you'll get the authentic feel by it's decor. The only other Chinese restaurant I've been to in the Charleston area that has better decor is the Dragon Palace in Daniel Island. However the advantages Dragon Palace stops there. Red Orchard's food is prepared with more elegance and balanced in its flavors. The Steam Ginger Sea Bass was done to perfection for those with a delicate palette. The home run of the night though came at the end when my waitress, Ann, recommended the owner's homemade Black Sesame Ice Cream. Wow this was so unique and had such great flavor! I would go back just to take my date to try it. Ann was wonderful and very knowledgable with their dishes so she'll be able to help you find that perfect dish for the perfect dining experience there.
