I'm very angry about the dinning experience I had on 2/12/11.First let me say that I am a regular, meaning, I dine at Red Lobster at least 1 to 3 times a week. It was evening and cold outside and I was so looking forward to some hot soup, biscuits and tea. We were a party of four; first we ordered drinks and appetizers... the Lobster dip and the sampler 3 w/stuffed mushrooms, calamari and veggies, and fried clam strips. The clams were too hard and the calamari not cooked enough, we didn't get any maranara sauce because there were no clean ramikins. To top it off we didn't get any saucers to put our appetisers on because they were all dirty. When I expressed my displeasure the waitress advised us they were short staffed and no manager was availabe. Our biscuits were dry and hard, we asked for fresh ones several times, but never recieved them. I got a mug of hot water for my tea, no lemon and no kettle, because they were also dirty. Everyone at my table had salad, I chose the Clam Chowder...paid an additional fee for it and was disapointed, because it was so watery and it was cold. I asked for my soup to be re~heated and it was bought back to me over 10 min later, colder than it left...the waitress laughed and said, "oh they probably forgot to turn the microwave on"! We waited over an hour for our food, however the restaurant was not crowded. We all had The Ultimate feast, our crab legs were dried out as if they had been sitting outside of the water for a long period of time and everything was cold. We never once got a refill on the drink or the tea and two in our party never recieved their drinks at all. My friends were visiting from out of town and I had been looking so forward to showing them a good time. I asked for a manager more than once, but was told there was not one available. I spent over $125 , however I tipped less than my usaual 25%. I also left the front desk my number, I was assured someone would get back to me. I also wrote a comment and my phone number on the back of my credit card reciept, but to date I have heard no reply...I too am in the food industry and look forward from time to time to the good food and service at my local Red Lobster...I am extremly disapointed!!!
