Raphael Bar Risto and the attached Tunnel Bar is probably the premier people watching restaurant in Providence if your taste in people runs toward the fit, well dressed and immaculately groomed. Sure, the food is fantastic and the drinks are top notch, but there is more to eating out than a good meal. Enjoy the very modern decor, clever layout and comfortable seating while enjoying eye candy both on your plate and in the room. Don't go there in anything but your best dressed, fittest frame of body and mind, or you will feel out of place. Appropriately prepared for the evening, you will fell as though you stepped into a private party for the see and be seen crowd. Possibly the after ceremony party for the SAG awards. Plan to spend money, linger over drinks in the bar after your meal, and have the time of your life.

The brunch in general was mediocre. Overcharge for beverages. The service was awful--perky waitress but not attentive to anything. We had to ask for everything--including refills for coffee. The only place I know that automoatically charges 20% for p ...
