Janesville Restaurant Guide

I've eaten there several times and love it! The steaks are tender and tasty, the Texas toast hits the spot at the grill talking and cooking. The staff has always been polite and on the spot with the coffee..... We're planning on returning in a few days and can't wait!

I think the restaurant/experience is overrated. I was with a party of 6 and our table/area was so overcrowded. Also, we sat in a room near the front enterance that the help was carrying thru tubs of dirty dishes--don't they have another route? We were there early on a Sat. evening. We saw our waitress three times. We even had reservations---I wonder what it is like when you do not have reservations??

The specialty here is to grill your own steak or seafood. The restaurant is large and the grills, while huge, can sometimes get crowded. It is a good choice if you want people to mingle, but it is hard to socialize in a small group when everyone is running around grilling or going to the salad bar. Your are responsible for your own food unless you hire the cook to grill yours. A fun time for a change of pace. Especially good in the winter. In the summer the grills can seem to heat the restaurant up too much.
