as a Maine resident you get to sample some of the finest seafood in the state of Maine.
on my visit to Poor Richards Tavern, I was intrigued by the menu. I first tried the Crabs cakes with lobster sauce, the best crab cakes I have ever had, nice and soft and flavorful , then I ordered the House Special Lobster Stew, WoW! this was so elegant with it's creamy broth, chunks of Lobster and flavors that made the taste buds just dance in my mouth, absolutely the best I have tried on the east coast, my wife had a nice crisp salad and then the filet of sole with lobster stuffin, she was very satisfied as the stuffin complimented the sole to perfection, the homemade buttermilk biquits were perfect. the waite staff was friendly and the service was first class, the interior was decorated with antiques and portraits and the setting of the dining was just beautiful, this was surely one of the finest dining experiences Me and the my wife have ever had and I hope if your are ever in Ogunquit that you take the time to stop and enjoy Poor Richards Tavern
