Restaurant Description

53 years of great food in the Black tradition, the only way BBQ is authentic. Arnie Yarber owner and surrogate father to generations of Illini, politicians and tycoons. Even if the food wasn't great (and it is)it would still be Numero Ono for Arnie.

Were I on death row, Po' Boys would be the final meal I ordered in from my cell. It is simly: "where friends meet."

overrated. but a good sauce. the sauce is hotter than they make it out to be but is delicious. i suggest the mix sauce(mild and hot) and chicken or pork sandwich with fries.

I live in urbana and go to lil porgys at least twice a week. They've got some of the best bbq i've ever had. The half chicken is a bargain, and the lemon shake ups are great. Definately go to porgys
