Minneci's Ristorante

I highly suggest you avoid this restaurant. I visited with my boyfriend and we were very disappointed. First off, the menu is very, so to speak, dated. When I visit a restaurant with those prices, I would like to see fresh new cuisine. Not the same old stouffer style pasta dishes I can get at the store. Service was poor, food quality was poor and overall a let down. So many places are going to the farm to table mentality that it doesn't make it worth the time nor price to visit here. If they would revamp their menu and bring in some real forward thinking chefs they might make it. But, as I see it this town has a huge diversity of cuisine and they are just treading water with the same boring and uninspired cuisine. Yes, I understand that they have their long-term customers. But what is fact is that I can make a better lasagna or italian beef sandwich at home. When I go out I want to be wowed and say, "How did they do this". Not eat a sauce smothered pasta that's barely hot and looks bad on the plate. it's poor judgement on the part of who is deciding the menu. We received overall an unsatisfactory evening. They do have decent bread but I found out not even that is made there. Disappointed. So many ingredients that could be utilized.
