Restaurant Description
Come experience the flavors of southern Mexico. The food here features different spices than those used by most Mexican restaurants, which cook dishes typical of Northern Mexico. Playa Papagayos of Colton, CA is a combination of the restaurants La Palapa and El Huarache Azteco, two small restaurants that were once located three doors apart in San Bernardino. A couple of tempting house specialties are Huarache de Carne Asada and Fliete de Pescado Empapelado Rellano.

The staff is very friendly and the food is quite excellent. Everything appears homemade and all their dishes are flavorful. It's more like the mom and pop type of place, but the food is excellent and prices are great!
