My family has been going to Pizza Royal since I was a kid. Tonight we took my nephew and his friends there for his birthday party. I have never been treated so horribly in my life. We spent over $200 on food and drinks alone. I don't even know how much money was spent on video games by the kids. They had a football game on the TV in our area that nobody was watching so we asked them if they would put the Dodger game on. They flat out refused but changed the other TVs to whatever the other customers wanted to watch. A little while later, my brother asked if he could have some plates for the birthday cake and was told no...that they don't provide plates for cake...so he asked if he could have plates for the pizza then. The lady said "Oh....for the pizza that you ordered at 5:00?" We had ordered about six pizzas through out the night, several salads and several orders of the cheese bread. My brother told her "No, for the pizza that I ordered 10 minutes ago." At that point, one of the guys said "Why don't you just leave?" Our family was sitting in the back and not bothering anyone. When we did leave, a comment was made about "you people" so my brother went back in and asked what they were talking about...at that point, the guy asked my brother what nationality he is and my brother responded that he is white. The guy says "so am I so what's the problem?" Well the problem was that he was referring to my sister in laws family who are hispanic. At that point, the owner threatened to call the police....seriously? Because we asked to watch the Dodger game and wanted plates for a 9 year old's birthday cake? I will NEVER order pizza from this place again and I will tell everyone I know about how we were treated after all the money that was spent in there.
