Lousy portion sizes and prices much higher than $8-12 per entree - more like $14-18. Entrees were the size of appetizers and did not come with pasta or sides or salads or anything. One of us received 2 small, thin slices of veal for $18 with cauliflower (which the menu did not list). They said they specialized in pasta but served none to us. Bechamel sauce, which is a white sauce, came out as a tomato sauce with cream. Were charged for extra beer, too. Would never go back there again - minimalist French portions with attitude in what is supposed to be a robust Italian restaurant. Owner did not care to listen to feedback.

While the setting and building is nice, the positive experience stops there. The staff would rather hang out on the back steps smoking that pay attention to the customers. As many other reviewers have noted, they'll take your order and then simply forget about you. Even the owner doesn't seem to care. Just give him your money and be gone. What a shame. Don't waste your time or money here.
We enjoy our meal and our time together at this restaurant. Every thing was made to our order and the sevice was fast and enjoyable. Thank you very much for a wonderful night out.

The service is never better than less than average. The food is mediocre for the cost. For a restaurant to be located in an affluent area surrounded by other better quality restaurants with exceptional service, Paganini needs to step it up!

The restaurant is a true Northern Italian mecca. The servers keep there distance to allow time for the pastas and sauces to be freshly prepared. It allows time for great conversation with your guests. It really is a great place to relax. Don't let the "out of towners" just moving to the area fool you. Definitely visit this restaurant!

while the meal was decent and the ambience nice...outside on a flowered terrace, beautiful early summer day...our meal was flawed by the shoddy service. While not super super pricey it is higher end...we spent almost 80 for dinner, appetizers and drinks...I get better service at mcdonalds and I will avoid this restaurant. they do not care about their customers. they have ready touristy trade and probably snotty regulars who maybe they do offer service to. I will never patronize again. I rated value 1 star because of the horrible service.
