Down home friendly dining and food!
Famous for biscuits and gravy, available in full or half orders. Also added new menu items this fall with a breakfast bowl and a couple breakfast sandwiches. Enormous 3 egg omelettes. Also has all traditional standard favorites, including grits.
Lunch specials are offered, with a wide variety of homemade fare - chicken & noodles are fantastic. Sandwiches (Chicken Cordon Bleu is amazing, as is the Hamburger Steak sandwich) along with waffle fries, onion rings, wedge fries and 'regular' fries, also cole slaw, cottage cheese, salads.
Dinner specials too - Friday night all-you-can-eat Fish or Chicken for approximately $5.99; also sirloin and ribeye steaks, monteray chicken, baked potatoes, rice, vegetables and desserts available.
Lovely decor, with country-style wood boothes, cafe tables and bar stools at the counter.
Staff is wonderful, very attentive and quick with refills and requests. Delicious coffee!
