New Rochelle Restaurant Guide

The Waterfront is an amazing restaurant! The service, the food, and the atmosphere is great. The baby back ribs are to-die-for, and so is the balboa! They just underwent some renovations during September-October. On a nice night, the outdoor seating area is great. The staff is very friendly, and is nowhere as terrible as one of the previous people mentioned. Perfect for families, or even to go out and just grab a drink. THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN NEW ROCHELLE!

I have dined here many times and always found the food to be great. I would love to know what they marinate their skirt steak with. It is soooo good. No matter what we order we are never disappointed. Great service and prices are ok. the person giving this place a bad rating is crazy. I think he or she was at the wrong Waterfront. I love to take my family to "On the Waterfront". We are regulars and feel very comfortable at this establishment. The service is always wonderful and the staff and management are very warm. The food is typical of pub food so it's good to eat but it's certainly not a Morton's Steakhouse. But it is worth going to just to relax in a pleasant atmosphere. The awning is BACK up so go enjoy the scenery and the ambience.

What a terrible experience. I dined at this establishment years ago and was horrified when I returned this summer. The awning on the outdoor deck is gone making it impossible to enjoy your meal in the hot summer's sun. The service was awful. There is an undertone of sexual harrassment to many of the very young girls working by their management and fellow coworkers (do NOT send your daughter to work there). The food is overpriced and bland. The drink prices are ridiculous. "on the waterfront" should be renamed "on the parking lot", rather than overlooking the bay, it is located over a parking lot where garbage trucks come through frequently making it impossible to enjoy your meal. The outdoor deck shakes and is very unstable. Try Dudlys across the bay. Dudlys offers live entertainment and good food and prices. DO NOT dine at this establishment.
