This is a neighborhood "Old Wythe" restaurant that has been at this location on Kecoughtan Road, Hampton, Virginia for ages. When I was in the seventh grade at Wythe Junior High, I was a member of the Junior Exchange Club and the Exchange Club of Hampton would take us to the Oasis for supper. The menu is excellent and is varied plus there are ample waitresses and staff to serve you. The Oasis is a meeting place for the Wythe neighborhood and there are regulars at both breakfast and dinner. It is like Cheers where everyone knows your name. The only negative is they are only open to 8 p.m. on Fridays, the rest of the week they close at 2 p.m.

such a comfortable and friendly place, and the food was very good. traditioanl southern adn greek fare.
