When I was a kid in the 1950's my grandparents would always take us to Sunday dinner at the Holiday Diner on Main Street in Danbury. It has been renamed the "New Holiday Diner" but it essentially looks the same and serves the same food. I try to stop in when I go up to Danbury to see my cousins.
I have fond memories of this historic diner. It was great comfort food at a reasonable price.

This is the most wonderful place in danbury. Where else can you afford to take your whole family (four for me) and have a delicious homemade meal. The portion sizes are large and the prices are set to serve a family. The

I eat there pizza 2-3 times a week and I can tell you it's the best. A little pricy and a little out of the way but WELL worth it. Even though there plain cheese pizza ( I wouldnt have it any other way, call me a purist

I love the food at Widows. My favorites are the burgers or gorgonzola salad w/ hot grilled chicken. Friendly waitstaff and cozy atmosphere and prices comparable.

It's a nice little place to get a quick bite to eat. Vivian, one of the workers is very nice to all customers. She always has a smile.
