Marcus Hook Restaurant Guide

As an avid customer of this establishement, I have ALWAYS had a pleasant experience. Everyone is always so pleasant, even when they have to deal with some rude customers. They are constantly keeping the place clean, and the food is great. I have been coming to this pizza shop since i was a kid, and have never had a bad experience. Another thing that i like about New English is that it is a family establishment, and when you come there you are treated just like family. Every employee there knows all the customers by name, they know what kind of food you will probably get, and if you are short a couple dollars they even let you slide. They do deal with alot of customers that are rude, and right from the minute they enter the door you know they are probably going to have a problem but they deal with it as best as they can. Being in the food business isnt the easiest job but the employees at New English know what they are doing, and that is why they have been around for as long as they have been. Im pretty sure its about 25 years and i hope they are around for another 25 years!!!!

the food is excellent, and the service is great, friendly, and courteous, but I did notice when I was eating in one week-end, an employee entered and left the bathroom without washing hands then went back and handled food on grill. I know there was no soap and towels because I used bathroom but carry hand sanitizer with me just in case there is no soap or towels. please instruct all employees that this is not a good thing to do and is not healthy for your customers.
