Neal's Restaurant has been serving Texas Country Cookin' in Spring, Texas since 1986. We specialize in home-style cooking and make most items on our menu from scratch daily. We're best known for our hand-battered Chicken Fried Steak, Crispy Fried Catfish, Cajun-Grilled Seafood, Fajitas, slow-smoked BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Brisket, and Neal's own Sausage recipe. We're also known for Stuffed Shrimp, Crawfish Etouffee, Buffalo Burgers, Chili, Cajun Onion, and our famous Homemade Pies. We've also got Steaks, Sandwiches, Salads, and Kid's Meals. Neal's has such a wide variety of food types on the menu, everyone is sure to find something they'll like. We offer a daily lunch special including one meat (chicken-fried-steak or "entree of the day") with 2 veggies, a homemade roll, and dessert for under $6. We feature All-You-Can-Eat BBQ Pork Spare Ribs every Tuesday. Come on in and treat yourself to a homemade meal. Casual dining atmosphere. Families and groups are always welcome. We've also got lots of parking behind our building, just in case the front is too full.

I have been coming here for years with my family. It is hands down the best place to go for good home cooking. They even have some healthy options if you are in to that... My husband always gets the chicken fried steak and I can get a salad or grilled chicken. Works out for the whole family.

This place has AWESOME food, that is cooked to perfection!! I LOVE catfish that's fried in cornmeal...reminds me of my mom's :) Also, they have HUGE portions that even a man like me cannot finish!!

Great Food. Cajun style. The catfish and chicken tenders were awesome. You need to try the red beans & rice and hush puppies. Great prices and service.

I love this place! We have been coming here for years for the good country food. Recently they have made a few changes and they have made it even better! We will definitely keep coming back!

My family and I recently moved to Spring and were told by my neighbor to try Neal's. It was the best meal we have had in a long time. My kids loved the homemade cookie they got with their meal. My husband and I both adored the homegrown fried zucchini appetizer. The chicken fried steak was the best I have had anywhere. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was very Texas. Neal, the owner, even came to our table to see how we were doing. To top off our evening we took a piece of the homemade blackberry pie home with us. It was a perfect ending to a fantastic dining experience. My family and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and coworkers. This was our first time there....but it certainly won't be the last!!!

Worst dining experience in 12 years. To preface this I travel 4 to 5 nights a week and have eaten out all over the US. The food was cold and the service was just as bad. The staff also blinked the lights on my family and my parents that night. I guess they wanted to go home after such a bad display of food service. To add insult to injury the waitress hit me with a 15%. So I asked her to have Neal give me a call and left my cell number on the ticket, it has been 2 weeks and I have not heard from Neal. To bad Neal, not only did you lose customer but everyone I talk to will hear about my experience.

My family and I love coming to Neal's. There is something for everyone here. My husband loves the chicken fried steak and the big screen TV. My kids love the cookie that they get if they eat their dinner (the cookie comes with the kids meal). I love the stuffed shrimp and the large vegetable selection they have. The desserts are amazing and home made. My favorite is the chocolate pie but my husband always gets the brownie in a pie with ice cream on it. They also have great catfish and BBQ!! The service is excellent and the restaurant is a clean relaxed place to enjoy a wonderful meal. The owner even comes up to our table to make sure that we have a wonderful experince each time we visit. I would reccomend this place to all my friends!!!

I recently visited Neal's and enjoyed one of the best BBQ dinners I've ever had. Although it wasn't listed on the menu, the BBQ Chicken is one of the best "hidden specialties" they serve. I highly recommed it with a glass of one of their many Texas wines.

Neal's has amazing barbecue. I had their Barbecue Chicken special and it was wonderful. My husband bad the Chicken Fried Steak and he loved it. This was our first visit, and it definately won't be our last. Great service and our food came out pretty quickly.

Neals is a great place to eat. They make you feel like you are at home. Very friendly staff. We dine in and take out on a regular basis. Food is great (especially the chicken fried steak and vegatables)I highly recommend for a pleasant dining experience.
