I also went to Mom Harris' after purchasing a certificate from https://www.restaurant.com and was informed that they have not been accepting them due to cost (they are a very small and fairly new business) for over seven months. It is Restaurant.com's fault for still selling them, and I have put in a complaint with their website about the error.

Since we had already driven to North Portland and the place smelled great we decided to stay and give it a try. We were quite glad we did! The blackened and fried chickens were some of the tastiest and most moist I've had and the portions were quite generous for the price. The gumbo, jambalaya and red beans and rice were just the right amount of spicy for soul food and the corn bread was buttery and delicious. The lone server/cook/cashier (Calvin) was welcoming, friendly and entertaining.

Great food, great service. Would definitely dine here again!

What a great find. I was in the area foe work and it was lunch time. I say the sign. 3.99 lunch and thought maybe. I walked in and was so glad I did. Its very small bit the service. And more the food was outstanding I will make the drive from Camas just to eat here again.

This place just sucks. The customer service is just plain rude and the food is greasy. No wonder its cheap. The drive thru orders everyone in the restaurant can hear is just tacky. Get a headset!
